Shooting in temperatures as low as minus thirty degrees Fahrenheit, visual artist SEAN WEBLEY traveled across the United States shooting photographs and motion images in what would eventually become a 50-photograph travelogue-inspired art installation. The idea was to let the elements penetrate the project and speak through it. The harsh conditions and frozen scenery seemed impossibly desolate, and the journey became a search for traces of life. Almost invisible in the landscapes, quiet expressions of life and warmth permeated from what seemed a sterile abyss.
